Thank you for visiting the Town of Cedar Lake!
Our town namesake is a 794-acre lake that is enjoyed by residents and visitors alike - both from the shore and in the water. The public access point to Cedar Lake is at the Chamber of Commerce building at Lake Shore Dr. and Cline on the north end of the lake.
The Town complex is located on the corner of Morse Ave and Constitution Avenue and is where you will find the Town Hall which is home to the Clerk-Treasurer's office, Planning Building and Zoning Department, office of the Town Administrator, Park Department and Police Department. The complex contains 18 acres of parks and open space, including over 6,000 feet of lake shore with picnic tables gazebos to spend a relaxing day outdoors with your family. The Complex is home to the annual SummerFest. In addition to the festival and the bountiful open space, the Lake of the Red Cedars Museum, a restored resort hotel that with a rich history is located on this property.
