Public Works Department

The Cedar Lake Public Works Department is commited to the promotion of quality utility services including sewer and wastewater management and road and street maintenance. The department is dedicated to providing quality, professional services and customer services while maintaining a safe and reliable infrastructure in a cost effective manner.

Recycling

The Public Works garage accepts recyclable materials at the facility. The revenue from these recycled materials contributes to the Lake County Solid Waste Grant which in turn makes more services possible in our community.

Free Mulch Available

The Public Works garage offers free mulch to citizens. the mulch is created from the recycled leafs and yard waste that the department collects throughout the year.For more information contact the department.
