Creepy Crawler Hunt and Movie
Children should arrive with their flashlights and a bag to collect 100’s and 100’s of (plastic) bugs.  Stay after the hunt to view “Bee Movie” FREE POPCORN will be served.  All other refreshments will be sold by the Cedar Lake Youth Council

Hershey Track and Field Meet
Boys and girls can compete in 2 track and 1 field event or 2 field and 1 track event.  Applications are available at the Park Office or with your Gym teacher.  Ribbons will be awarded to all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners and trophies for record breakers.  Winners advance to the STATE held in Muncie, Indiana on June, 28th  Free refreshments will be provided.

“Kidz Yard Sale, Fashion Show & Car Show
Kids will have their own space (FREE) to sell kids’ items (no food stands).  A Bratz & Barbie Fashion Show will be held at Noon, certificates to winners and door prizes for ALL.  “Hot Wheels” Car Show will be held at 1 PM., ribbons for winners and door prizes for ALL. A concession will be open for the public.

 Youth Art Show and Celebration of Reading
The Youth Art Show is a fantastic opportunity for children to share their talents.  There are eight categories; ribbons and certificates will be awarded.  The “Chalk It Up Contest” allows participants to express their artistic talents with chalk along the sidewalk in front the Lake of the Red Cedars Museum (11 AM).  Hanover Central Key Club will partner with the Park and Recreation Department from 10 am to Noon for the Celebration of Reading.  Bring the list of books read (or read to you) throughout the summer.  For each book you will receive a ticket for raffle drawings.  There will be a FREE moonwalk, and FREE hot dogs, popcorn, and lemonade will be served.  Call the Park Office for an entry application for the ART SHOW
