Annual Events

National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual event that involves citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic organizations, businesses, and local officials from over 10,000 communities. NNO is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate participation in, and support for local anticrime programs;
  • Strengthen neightborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and are fighting back

National Night Out will take place on Tuesday August 3, 2010.
