Infraction Deferral Program

Citizens who have not received a moving traffic violation within the past year may elect to participate in the Traffice Infraction Deferral Program.

Program Explanation and Fees

While participating in the program, a person must agree that he/she will not committ a criminal or moving traffic violation in any state for a period of six months, the duration of the program. After successfully completing the program, the original citation will be dismissed by the Town without prosecution and no points will be assessed to the participant's driving record.
